We are transforming Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof into a new transparent centerpiece of Vienna’s ninth district. The conversion is particularly resource-friendly: compared to demolition and new construction, 18,625 tons of CO2 can be avoided, which corresponds to a saving of 67 percent. Steel and concrete from the existing building are incorporated and reused in a contemporary conversion concept.
